St George's Day 2024

On Saturday the 20th April, our group happily Outed a new topper, for St George's Day 23rd April.   This time Vanessa designed the layout, and also made the very comical dragon. Kathy made our very handsome St George along with all the red and white roses. Carol made the felt banner, and some of the members made the England flag. St George is the Patron Saint of England. We are fundraising again, and this time for a charity called 1625 Independent People for their Accommodation housing called St George's House. This charity concentrates on young adults between the ages of 16 and 21 who find themselves homeless, quite often caused through family breakdowns, it's a very worthy charity.
